When I die, give what is left of me to my children. If you need to cry, cry for your brothers walking beside you. Put your arms around anyone, and give them what you need to give me.
I want to leave you with something, something better than words or sounds. Look for me in the people I have known or loved. And if you cannot live without me, then let me live on in your eyes, your minds and your acts of kindness.
You can love me most by letting hands touch hands and letting go of children that need to be free.
Love does not die, people do. So when all that is left of me is love… Give me Away
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on the snow. I am the sunlight on the ripened grain I am the gentle autumn’s rain. When you awake in the morning’s hush, I am the soft uplifting rush of quiet birds in circling flight. I am the star that shines at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry I am not there For I am in a better place.
A Prayer from our Loved One
To my dearest family, Some things I’d like to say But first of all to let you know That I arrived O.K.
I’m writing this from Heave Where I dwell with God above Where there’s no more tears or sadness There is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy Just because I’m out of sight Remember that I’m with you Every Morning, noon and night
That day I have to leave you When my life on Earth was through God picked me up and hugged me And He said I welcome you.
It’s good to have you back again You were missed while you were gone As for you dearest Family They’ll be here later on.
I need you here so badly As part of My big Plan There’s so much that we have to do To help our mortal man.
Than God gave a list of things he wished for me to do And foremost on the list of mine Is to watch and care for you.
And I will be beside you Every day and week and year And when you’re sad, I’m standing there To wipe away your tears.
And when you lie in bed at night The days chores put to flight God and I are closest to you In the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on Earth And all those loving years Because you’re only human They are bound to bring you to tears.
But do not be afraid to cry It does relieve the pain Remember there would be no flowers Unless there was some rain
I wish that I could tell you of all that God has planned But if I were to tell you You wouldn’t understand.
But one thing is for certain Though my life on Earth is over I am closer to you now Than I ever was before.
And to my many friends Trust God knows what is best I’m still not far away from you I’m just beyond the crest.
There are rocky roads ahead of you And many hills to climb But together we can do it Taking just one day at a time…
It was always my philosophy And I’d like it for you too That as you give unto the World So the World gives back to you.
If you can help somebody Who’s in sorrow or in pain Then you can say to God at night My day was not in vain.
And now I am contented That my life it was worthwhile Knowing as I passed along the way I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody Who is down and feeling low Just lend a hand to pick him up As on your way you go.
When you are walking down the street And you’ve got me on your mind I’m walking in your footstep Only half a step behind.
And when you feel that gentle breeze or the wind upon your face That’s me giving you a great big hug Or just a soft embrace.
And when it’s time for you to go from the body to be free remember you’re not going You are coming here to me
Always keep in mind I will always love you and be watching over you from the land way up above
Outside my window, a nice day I see and only I can determine what kind of day it will be. It can be busy and cold, unhappy and grey. My own state of mind is the determining key, for I am only the person I let myself be. I can be thoughtful and do all I can to help, or be selfish and think only of myself. I can enjoy what I do and make it seem fun, or gripe and complain and make it hard on someone. I can be patient with those who may not understand, or belittle and hurt them as much as I can. But I have faith in myself, and believe what I say, and I personally intend to make the best of each day.

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free I’m following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard Him call I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way. I found that peace at close of day.
If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life’s been full, I’ve savored much. Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and share with me God wanted me now, He set me free.
For Those I Love, For Those Who Love Me
When I am gone, release me, let me go… I have so many things to see and do. You mustn’t tie yourself to me with tears. Be happy that we had so many years. How much you gave me in happiness. I thank you for the love you each have shown, But now it’s time I traveled alone !
So grieve awhile for me, if grieve you must. Then let your grief be comforted by trust. It’s only awhile that we must be apart. So bless the memories that lie within your heart. I won’t be far away, for life goes on. So if you need me, call and I will come. Though you can’t see me or touch me, I’ll be near. And if you listen with your heart, you‘ll here All of my love around you soft and clear.
And then,, when you must come this way alone… I’ll greet you with a smile and “Welcome You Home”
When tomorrow stars with out me, And I’m not here to see, If the sun should rise and find your eyes, Filled with tears for me.
I wish so much you wouldn’t cry, The way you did today, While thinking of the many things We didn’t get to say.
I know how much you love me, As much as I love you, And each time you think of me, I know you’ll miss me too.
When tomorrow starts without me, Don’t think we’re far apart, For every time you think of me. I’m right there in your heart.
God looked around his garden
And He found an empty place. He then looked down upon this earth, And saw your tired face. He put his arms around you And lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering He knew you were in pain He knew that you would never Get well on earth again. He saw that the road was getting rough. And the hills are hard to climb, So He closed your weary eyelids And whispered “ Please be thine “. It broke our hearts to lose you But you didn’t go alone For part of us went with you That day that God called you home.
